Look After Yourself Friday

Joy, you are winning!

Every day, you have the opportunity to wake up with a fierce determination to learn something new, work on yourself internally and externally, and be better today than you were yesterday.

Striving to improve yourself every day is a beautiful goal to work towards. Keeping a positive attitude and remembering that progress, and not perfection, is the key.

Keeping joy in your heart makes you feel good, and damn it, it makes you look good all over. And when you feel good and look good, you do good! Radiating joy will draw the right people towards you and push away: The Gossiping Judys, The Energy Vampire, The Drama Queen, The Manipulator, The Self-Centered Snake, The Gossiping Goof Ball, The User. (These are the 7 toxic “friends that you can find in my post recent post, here’s the link 7 Types of Toxic Friends

So shine, be positive, and find joy in every situation. Look after yourself and guard your peace at all times!

Let joy in and let it win.

How I’m looking after myself

Today, I’ll be heading to Macy’s to catch a 40% off sale, then mosey over to the perfume counter and pick a fragrance that I’m getting low on. After that, I’ll be on my couch under blankets watching sports ALL WEEKEND LONG!!!!

First, we’ll start with the Fever game tonight, college football on Saturday, and pro football on Sunday. If you could see me right now, you would see nothing but joy as I even think about all the games I’m fixin to watch!

Your turn ~ How are you looking after yourself today and this weekend~

I would love for you to share with us how you are looking after yourself.

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Good advice, Bella, and good plans!

I like the expression “to mosey over”, never heard it before. Is it something like “to shimmy over”?

I plan to be a bit more active this weekend and clean out a bed in the garden for my berry bushes that are still cramped together in a container. My husband volunteered to hoover the house. Otherwise it will be project and music playing time, maybe one or the other crime drama, good food, good wine, yoga for me.

I wish you and your family a great weekend!
