You Want to Look and Feel Younger? ~Fit Tip Saturday~

If you want to look and feel younger, then you are in the right spot!

Looking and feeling old isn’t part of most people’s plans, but guess what? If you want to live a long life, then aging comes with it, and that, my dear, is a blessing.

But remember, you have the power to look and feel the way you want, regardless of your age! First things first, stop using your age as a reason why you can’t do certain things, or at least don’t rush the aging process.

How To Look Younger

  1. Sleep~ Set a bedtime and stick to it. Nothing will age you more inside and out than being a night owl and rising early.
  2. Drinking water and eating healthy works inside out~ Not only will they keep your digestive system on track, but your healthy, glowing skin will love you for it.
  3. STOP ALLOWING CRAPPY PEOPLE IN YOUR CIRCLENUFF SAID
  4. Exercise~ Any movement is good movement, and without it, your body will naturally lose muscle, and you’ll be stiff, sore, and lethargic.

How To Feel Younger

  1. Hang around people your age~ Trying to act younger and fit in with the younger crowd is exhausting. Embracing where you are in your life will give you a sense of appreciation, not a constant reminder that you are no longer 25 with your whole life ahead of you. You have to love who you are at this moment and give thanks!
  2. Set goals~ AT every stage of life, you should have new goals to reach. This will give you something to live for and keep your mind fresh.
  3. Be adventurous~ Adventure out and see the world.

Loving on you will make you feel and look young

Loving on the ones that love you will make you feel and look young

LAUGHING with your whole heart will make you look and feel young

Dancing will make you look and feel young

Being unpredictable will make you look and feel young

Cheers to aging and embracing every step of our beautiful journey!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

    1. me too…..depends though. I’ve 4 people a lot younger than me, after a little time with them I just feel better…so either they’re more mature for their age, or maybe I’m younger…..they just seem more balanced and happier than people my age….

      1. I don’t go after age. If I feel drawn to people, they could be any age. In our former village my best buddy was a woman my own age, but she was open minded and interesting to talk to. Many people my age only talk about their children and grandchildren and nothing else. We had some gifted artists in the old village, but they were younger than me. People could be 20 years older than me, as long as they still have an open mind and heart. That’s what attracts me.
My best friend is my age, we know each other from 1st grade at school; my other two nearest friends are 10 and 15 years younger, and they are not ashamed to be seen with me in public 😉

  1. I recently listened to talk on the subject of emotions…crows feet were mentioned as a good sign of a happy life, a life well lived..but the most interesting is that we don’t smile with out mouths but with our eyes…and that putting a pencil in our mouths, on our molars and biting down for a count of twenty will make us happier for a couple of hours…..I keep wanting to try that but only have pens?

    1. Ohhhhhh the good ole laugh lines! I go back and forth how I feel about those suckers but hey it’s a pet of life and I’d rather have those than frown lines. Biting on a pencil huh? I’ll have to try that but I only have ones too. I hate pencil sharpeners 😖

  2. I like your advice not to fit in with the younger crowd. I work with a younger crowd and the other day I was lamenting that last year I did not make any good friends at the current school and then I realized that my friends are mostly my age or older. Sometimes younger people are not as openminded to older people.

  3. That’s what I try to do, and honestly, all we CAN do. Aging is inevitable, no matter how we try to fight it, and despite our attitudes about it. But the t does help to keep a positive outlook, and strive to be as healthy as possible so we can ENJOY the aging process and not either in pain and sadness.
