The benefits of getting fit are so compelling, but your humorous reasons not to are absolutely on point. I never thought of gym selfies and avocado toast as potential pitfalls, but now I see the humour in it!👍

Fun! I have befallen to the lures of number 4, yes. Veggie/fruit/protein drinks for breakfast and avocado toast for lunch. 👍🏻 Of course, I have homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, too. Or whatever treat I’ve made for the week. 😊

OMG, my pet peeve, selfies?….is it possible for people to workout without looking at their phones? I once ran with a friend who pretty much ran and looked at her phone….I eventually slapped he with a low hanging tree branch she didn’t see coming, and yes,I did say get a selfie about that…and in the gym, why? Maybe it’s my age, but when did we become so connected all the time?….and yes, when I wake up one of the first things I do is check my phone, I finally bought an alarm clock and put my phone in another room….I keep hearing about a movement where some are trading in their always connected phones for just a phone….here there’s a push against distracted driving, people driving while staring at their phones!..I even see idiots on bikes doing it…..grrrr…sorry, but an old man’s rant came on

Warren I’m with you!!!! I hate gym selfies, just workout and get home please.. so annoying.
I always say there is no way you are that important that you always have to look at your phone. Drivers are the worse.
Cana we not go for a walk or run and look at nature..geeesh!
And LOL at the lady who hit the tree branch, nice come back to her. LOL
