Over the last few months, I saw a gigantic increase in my weight. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why. Every morning I would hop out of bed, and as soon as my feet hit the ground, I would take off running. I’m not kidding; I would get my workout clothes on and hit the streets. After I was done running my 3 miles, I would immediately rush in, strip off those smelly clothes, put on some new ones so I could lift weights for 45 minutes. Then there I stood looking at the scale and the scale looking at me with a sassy grin. I know that evil thing was just mocking me and waiting for me to step on it and to see that terrible number.
