The truth about cheat days!
Cheat days are a curse word, and when I tell you that you are fooling yourself when you say, “I think I earned this cheat day. Now, reread what I just wrote”.
I earned this CHEAT DAY!
Do you mean to tell us that since you worked out for an hour, maybe two, each day, and ate healthily, you now deserve an ENTIRE DAY to do what you want and how you like it?
WRONG!!!!!
No one has earned the right to eat like you have no sense for an ENTIRE DAY. Your workout is imperative on the days that you choose to eat something that you know is loaded with calories and goodness.
After or Before indulging, you should welcome a long walk into your plan, followed by 15-30 minutes of weights—preferably an upper and lower-body weighted workout. But don’t stop there. Go into the kitchen and chug water, refill that cup, and chug more water.
Let the truth be told
Cheat days will keep you in a chokehold! Every week, you’ll start over like it was day 1, and that is what some call insanity.
The definition of insanity is “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
~”Allegedly,” quoted by Albert Einstien~
So with that being said, you can’t throw away a great week of doing the right thing for your mental and physical health for one damn day. And then complain that you don’t see your body changing. Your body will never change with those actions.
It’s okay to enjoy good food as long as you do it in moderation.
BUT HERE IS THE KEY
On the days you deviate from your normal healthy lifestyle, you have to put in some type of workout. The not-so-healthy days are the days you need the workouts the most.
Be healthy and make good decisions!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

Agreed Belladonna! When I was dieting, I never had cheat days, because I knew that I would not stop eating all the bad foods once I started!

Great advice! I’m trying to lose weight but it’s so hard for me because I lack consistency. However, Ramadan began and I’m hoping fasting will help me lose weight.
