Look After Yourself Friday ~3/8~

Today is all we got!

Living your life like today is your last day is rewarding. It feels like it’s a must to accomplish every one of your goals.

It’s so easy to get caught up during your day and say, “I’ll put this off until tomorrow.”

And then, guess what?

Tomorrow never comes, and your goals get pushed back further and further in the background. And then finally, that one dreadful day arrives—you know the day I’m talking about—the day of doom, the day that you no longer recognize the goal or goals that you set.

That damn goal is long gone, and there you are looking like, well damn, I remember I had a goal, but I don’t remember what it was!

We don’t have time for that!

Life is too short to keep putting things off until the imaginary tomorrow, and life is too long to accomplish a bowl full of nothing.

That being said, today, I’m living like it’s my last. I’m checking off one goal after another. On top of that, I’m hanging with my four favorite people and my fur baby. My college kids are home for Spring Break, and we have a full schedule for this weekend.

Tonight is movie and pizza night; tomorrow is theatre and fancy restaurant dazzle day. And on Sunday, we chill with the Lord and his people, getting a good word that will help us through another beautiful week.

I would love to read about what y’all are doing today. Whatever you choose to do, do it like it’s your last day on earth, and do it UP! Throw caution to the wind and LIVE.

Happy Friday my beautiful people, be safe and have fun!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. I know a time will be had with y’all!

Tonight, I have ordered some Thai food and I will finish watching Fargo on Hulu. Tomorrow, I am working a few hours of OT, and I’ll go skating as well. Sunday, I’ll stream church online, cook, rest, and relax. It’ll be a great weekend.

    Enjoy yours, lady!

  3. I hope you are having a fabulous weekend with you family! I am trapped as it were by about 70 cm of snow after a blizzard that is finally starting to wind down this morning. Today will be spent digging ourselves out through the mounds of snow we got. The City has been shut down since yesterday and looks to be shut down again today to clean up the snow… I wanna go play in it!! 🙂
