Saturday Fit Tip ~24>1~ MUST READ

What is the best question to ask yourself?

Okay, Let me start by saying there are a lot of good questions that you should ask yourself. But some questions are better than others. One of the best ones to ask is, “How much time am I wasting every day”?

And then ask yourself this; “How can I make better use of my time”?

Then DO IT!

In 2020, I found myself watching a lot of movies and TV shows and drinking wine. I know I’m not the only one who did these things because streaming services sales, as well as alcohol sales, went up drastically. And daily self-growth went down. Well, at least it did for me!

I quickly had to make changes and encourage others to do the same.

How much time are you wasting

  1. Do you watch a few hours of TV a day
  2. Do you talk on the phone throughout the day
  3. Are you sleeping more than 8-9 hours a day
  4. Do you play video games or games on your phone

The list of questions can go on and on. There are an endless amount of ways that you can waste your time, and I’m sure y’all are aware of that. But there are also an infinite amount of ways you can turn this around for the better.

How many hours should you devote to fitness per day

ONE!!!!

That’s it! One hour is all it takes to put yourself on the path of changing your life forever. Fitness is a journey that you should hold close to you for the rest of your life. If you want to see your body change and improve your health, then you need to make a daily commitment.

There are 24 hours in a day, and you only need to give up one of those hours, 4% of your day. Which means you have to cut back on the things that aren’t beneficial to your lifestyle and tap into the things that are.

There are more than enough hours in the day to get shit done. All we have to do is prioritize our day and make moments count. We have to stop making excuses and decrease the amount of time we waste.

Cheers to a happy and healthy life!

  1. Agreed that 4% is needed. So do the others.

Watching movies – Only the mind stimulating ones
Games – which help retain your memory
Sleep – 7 to 8 hours a day very essential
Exercise – Must but at the moment sporadic which is bad I know
    Drinking – I don’t drink alcohol

      1. Tv shows don’t hold any attraction for me these days. I love watching a movie on the big screen, but it also needs to be B on par. Recently we walked out of the movie “ Creator “ it was quite so so.

  2. If I do not exercise at least 30 minutes a day I go into a funk. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. According to my shrink it is a good thing. Exercise relieves stress and anxious thoughts. At least they do in me.

  3. I am soooo struggling with this. At one time in my life I trained a lot…my mornings were run, strenth, then swim…there was biking and yoga in there too…for some reasons, that all fell apart…I want to get close to that, but, well, I know how to do this, I just can’t seem to focus on a goal…..and I know the importance of rest and recovery…so, um, today’s a day of coach, coach yourself

    1. Warren I get it! I’ve had to talk myself back into the game A LOT! You definitely got this and what your going through is normal, but you know that. I have a feeling you are hard on yourself. Champion mentality! But that’s a good thing.
