Monday Fit Tip! ~Challenge for October~ WEEK 1

We are officially starting the challenge, and I AM READY to see how y’all did last week!

I know I usually have a fit tip on Saturdays, but I wanted to ensure I noticed and replied to everyone’s messages. So, I held off posting until today. This weekend, I hosted a birthday my daughter’s birthday party, and I ran around like a crazy lady.

But I LOVED every minute of it!

So tell me, How did you do last week?

Challenge “officially” WEEK 1

Whenever you dive into a challenge, it’s a good idea to prepare for it a week early so that you are ready to win when the challenge begins. And I hope y’all are prepared to go.

This week, we will do the same as last week and add to it.

Last weeks goals

  1. Write down five reasons why your mental health is worth fighting for
  2. Take one walk for 30 minutes
  3. Give five people a compliment
  4. Follow one new blog and leave a comment

Now, to add to this, we are going to kick it up a notch.

  1. Take a faster pace walk for 30 minutes and record how far you walked.
  2. Avoid sugar for one whole day; for example, cakes, pies, cookies, donuts, etc. YOU GET IT!
  3. Drink 64 ounces of water(minimum) everyday
  4. For One night, Turn off technology an hour before going to bed
  5. Promote a blog for your readers (not mine). There are so many great blogs that are just starting and need support.

Saturday, I will have a new challenge for the week, and yes, you guessed it, there will be a few new things for us to accomplish.

Y’all, I am so excited about this challenge and reading all about your mental and physical health. And if you notice, doing random acts of goodness for someone will not only help their mental health but yours as well.

Being kind feels good!

See you on Saturday.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. A few of those are gonna be tough for me.. but i do walk the for 30 mins usually about 6 times a day, its at her speed not mine, lol. I do complement people quite regularly or at least stop to talk with them, it drives my wife nuts when we are in public because its like people are drawn to me. As for sugar, that one’s gotta be in my coffee, its usually the only time I have it unless I drink the occasional soda. Water I drink about that amount.

  2. I love this challenge. Just writing alone has been a spiritual journey that has pushed my level of comfortable to not so comfortable. So your challenge resonates with me as another stepping stone, meeting amazing bloggers in my spiritual and mental health journey

  3. Great challenge! Last week I went for a 30 minute walk at a park that had a lantern festival with music. Avoiding sugar – easy stuff. I stopped eating desserts and drinking sugary drinks a few years ago. Don’t miss it. In fact, my taste buds changed and now I find sweet desserts taste kind of gross.🙂
