Saturday Fit Tip ~Stop STARING At ME~

There you go, looking at me again; I put you in the corner for a reason!

I have avoided this damn stepper for a year. I used to love it, but I tried yet again something new and pushed my poor little stepper into the corner. Well, until today. 

If you’ve never stepped, you need to because it is a game changer!

In fact, this stepper is one of the reasons I began blogging. Because of my love for fitness, I wanted to teach others besides my clients how everyone with an able body can achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Health and fitness can be achieved in many ways. What works for one person may not work for someone else. Being able to find what works for you will change a bad feeling you may have about fitness. 

Trying something new and being open about doing something that scares you is essential to finding”your” thing. It may take years to see what excites you to work out, and that’s fine; it’s normal. But the thing is, keep an open mind and dare to put yourself out there.

Dare to try something new

Years ago, I was a part of Beach Body, and Shawn T had a program incorporated a step. When I saw him moving on that thing, I thought, “OH HELL NO.” I thought I would fall and break my neck if I tried to do half of what he was doing.

But I pushed that negative thinking aside and placed an order anyway.

I’m so happy I did, not just because of Shawn T, but because Of Xtreme HipHop with Phil. This SUERMAN of fitness and step master can be found on YouTube. All you have to do is turn your TV or laptop on, search for Xtreme HipHop with Phil, and then watch your life change for the better.

Be ready to dance, sweat, listen to good music, and have a blast. And if you try him out, please let me know.

  1. ahhhh, the stepper … reminds me of the 90s. i didn’t realize stepping was still a thing! i don’t have my stepper anymore. i sold it in a garage sale when i moved 7 years ago. but seeing your pic and reading your post brings back good memories! ❤

    1. It really is and you can slide it under your bed or put it in your closet until the next day. There are so many programs on Youtube for the stepper and they are FREE! I love free

  3. I used to do the Beach Body thing with Shawn T back in the day. Probably still have some DVDs packed away. That and Tony Horton. I was considering getting myself a step. Funny that you should blog about this at the time I’m considering it.
