We ain’t thinking about you

I’ve been in a reminiscing kind of mood as of late, and it may have something to do with me turning a year older in just a couple of weeks. We have all been hurt by something or someone, misunderstood, made fun of, and kicked to the curb. We can either allow those situations to bury us or rebirth us. We should choose to rise above the fray and kick life in the ass.

I hate the phrase, “Allow your haters to be your motivators.”

Why would we allow anyone that despises us to live rent-free in our mind? Giving them that satisfaction is keeping them and their bad mojo alive. INSTEAD of bringing life to the folks that wait patiently for your downfall, bring love and positive vibes, positive energy, and feed off intellect.

Allowing losers to make you move with effort and motivation is a backward way of thinking. We need to bless ourselves by bringing in light and love. Let’s face it we are alive for a short time, it doesn’t seem like it, but life goes fast and moves on once you are gone.  So why waste a moment on people who prey on your downfall? When you fall, you hear laughter instead of seeing a hand to help you up.

Screw those people!

Allow your motivation to come from cheers, love, and enthusiasm toward your success. Breathe life onto those that clap for you, and help you when you have stumbled or fallen. Give praise back to them and be the one that provides a hand when they need help.

It doesn’t matter if you hate on us in private, public, or in your mind; We ain’t thinking about you!

  15. I’ve always found that phrase slightly off and you just pinpointed the exact reason! Very true. Rather than flexing in your hater’s faces, the biggest flex is not even caring about them or what they think either which way.

  17. I love how you put this, “we allow anyone that despises us to live rent-free in our mind.” I’ve done that, I might be still doing it, but I’m trying to squeeze them out with thoughts of the good people in my life that are authentic, kind, and supportive. Great post. Hugs my friend, C

  19. Most of my critics are online because that’s where I do most of my work, and I’ve always felt that anyone who spends time criticizing people on the internet doesn’t have anything valuable to say. We all know that, I think.

I’m as far as you can get from being a A type, I remember an uncle telling me when I was just starting high school to be an engine not a caboose….I wished I paid attention to that back then, my life would be so different now….it took me going my own way to figure that I should always go my own way, and if others want to follow fine, if not, that’s fine too
