Deciding to get your health in order is easy, but it’s your mind that overcomplicates everything. We can easily stick to a fitness journey that includes balance, affordability, and modifications.
Without these three things, you will become frustrated and pissed off at the idea of getting your life back on track; let me briefly explain why and this month, I will take each topic for an individual post and go into further detail.
BALANCE
Life is meant to be fun; we are here for a short time, so we might as well have a good time. I promote good times, and I encourage everyone to eat the foods they like. This is easy to achieve if you learn how to eat them.
For instance, learn what foods should be mixed and vice versa. If we combine the wrong foods, bloating, constipation, indigestion, fatigue, and other weight-gaining things can and will occur.
It’s unbelievable how much weight you can lose or how much muscle you can gain if you learn to cook the foods you like. It’s such a bonus to your journey if you know what’s in your food and avoid adding unnecessary amounts of sodium etc. If you mix your newly learned knowledge of food with daily movement, you are on your way to creating a winning story.
AFFORDABILITY
Eating healthy can be costly, but knowing where and when to shop and how much to buy is the key. Before you shop, check all the flyers and take a quick look at which stores are having sales on the items you need; plan out your meals for the week and then shop. It’s just that easy.
We are supposed to have three meals a day and a few healthy snacks. Don’t overthink it; keep it simple and go crazy making meals that will keep you excited about meal time. Boring meals will cause you to stumble right to your favorite fast food spot.

MODIFICATION
Not every day is meant for a PR day(personal record)! Athletes train for the big competition day; if they go hard in the gym daily, they will crash and burn. So what makes us think that we should go hard every day?
In fact, on most days, modifications for each exercise are heavily encouraged. Slow and steady will prevent injuries and keep you healthy enough to get your butt up and keep it moving.
