It’s easy to give up and let your plans drift away like a warm summer breeze.
I don’t know why we talk ourselves out of good ideas and things that will improve our lives.
It’s funny how my clients will sabotage their weight loss journey (yes, I’ve started training again). I’m telling you, it’s like clockwork, and I know when the sabotage will strike.
For example, When we enter month three, the weight is falling off, and muscle definition is pulling through. My client’s eating habits have changed, and things are getting easier and more accessible to maintain. Then all of a sudden, doubt or fear kicks in; I’m not sure which one but one of them rears its ugly head.
In any case, the time has come, and I am giving pep talks left and right, not wanting any of them to give up on the progress that we’ve made. On the contrary, I want them to prove themselves wrong and finish what they started.
Anyone can take a lighter road and give up. Believe it or not, you can control your food consumption and carve out time in your day to workout. You might need therapy a coach, for a good friend that you can lean on, on bad days and, quite often, good days. But you can do it.
I felt hopeless when I began my fitness journey after my third child. There I stood over 200 pounds and had no motivation insight. And when I started Weight Watchers and Beachbody, I saw my weight rapidly changing. When I reached 170 pounds, I began doubting myself and was sure I would not get my muscles back. I was scared to fail, so I chose to stop. Then I gave myself the talk.
But ultimately, I chose to prove that I could achieve my goal, and quitting wasn’t an option.
QUITTING IS NEVER AN OPTION!
So what are you waiting for? Get up and get busy LIVING. It’s time to prove yourself wrong!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

I stopped weighing myself a few years ago but I am about 130 lbs. My heaviest weight was over 200 lbs. After my husband’s cardiac scare last year he is 40 lbs. lighter since his heaviest some years ago. There is no magic solution – just common sense. It is also hard work but worth it. Congratulations to you, Belladonna! Do you know why weight comes off your boobs first?😂 None of my bras fit…

it happens so quickly. For almost 30 years, every Wednesday I ran at 6PM, every Sunday morning my wife new I’d be running with my group at 8:30, then COVID happened, things changed, some shut down, and I started sleeping in every Sunday….and grew to like it way to quickly…now, the habit has returned after a lot of work….I believe 10 weeks creates a habit, but so quickly it’s easy to fall off the rails….not sure of the solution…

I don’t know why it’s so easy to get comfortable so quickly with doing then”wrong” thing but it sure feels cozy to be bad.
Good job getting back in your schedule. That’s a HUGE accomplishment

I am a regular old sloth at heart. I like to make my way through life slowly, easily, and without a lot of effort. It goes against my grain to sweat, push, and restrict my diet. BUT I DO! Because I have grand babies and I want to watch them grow. So let’s do this! Here’s to a healthy 2023! Love this post Bella! Hugs, C

You are such an amazing, inspiring, adorable person. Your blogs me the strength and courage to come out of my every day blues. I and my daughter are victims of pathetic, cruel, verbal abuse by a manipulative monster who will change his behavior according to the situation. But this year, things are going to change forever. Going to come out of my living hell. ❤❤😊😊😊. Three cheers to you.

I needed to read this today. I’m struggling to lose weight because im sabotaging myself. I don’t have anyone to lean on and my loved ones are very critical of my junk food eating. I told my dad I know if I just stop eating junk food, my weight will automatically go down, but I can’t seem to get myself to stop. His response was: oh so ur just like ur mother. He didn’t give any encouragement. He didn’t criticisize but that statement made me lose hope.

Don’t lose hope!!!! The best thing you can do is find people that are on a weighltoss journey just like you and lean on each other.
cutting out junk food is hard.
Here’s a challenge for you and I know you are going to nail it!
Start your day with something healthy that you love, drink 16 ounces of water and then put on a dance video. My favorite is fitness Marshall on youtube. He puts me in the best mood and I’m sweating and having fun.
Let me know if you try it!

Omg that is a great idea! I can’t implement it 100% but what ill do is put headphones on an music and dance after getting my sons lunch box for school. I’ll give myself 5 minutes to let loose, then I’ll wake him up so he can get ready. Thank you for the encouragement.
