For me, Friday is all about doing something that helps my mental health. Friday is my day, and I own my happiness.
Friday sets the tone for the rest of my weekend. Yes, I have kids sporting events to attend throughout the weekend, but I do it with a smile because my mental health is good.

I’ll go first!
I took my teenager to see “The Woman King.” When I tell y’all that this is a must-see, I mean just that. Throughout the movie, I cried, laughed, felt inspired, and was in awe of their strength. The women owned their power and dared anyone to test them.
I won’t give any spoiler alerts, but I will tell you this… Viola Davis is 57 years old and looks like a pure badass. She confirms that with hard work and dedication, mother nature can respectfully kiss my ass.
This movie is a MUST-SEE! Please support this movie; you will not regret it.
I hope you all choose to do something good for your mental health this weekend. Don’t forget to drink lots of water, get plenty of rest, hug someone, and make amends with someone you miss.

I watched it opening day. I was waiting for this movie. Absolutely LOVED it! You are so right, Viola Davis looked incredible, so impressive. I did some yoga for my mental health, nothing crazy but felt so good.💕

Yesss. She’s amazing, one of my favorites. I was counting the days as soon as I watched the preview, then ran to take my daughter.🤣 Yoga is pretty tough for me too but I’m just taking it slowly and feel mentally and physically amazing afterwards. Have a great weekend.💕

My husband does yoga twice a week and I sit on the couch and watch. I’m always like wow that looks really difficult 😂
