Today I wanted to do something a little different. I’m always on here giving fitness advice; I hope I’m helpful and making sense. In my head, my advice seems straightforward, but it’s kind of cloudy in my noggin and a little insane, so if I’m not clear, please ask me to clarify.
I promise I am not the type of fitness guru that takes offense to someone saying my advice is stupid. But, hell, maybe it is, and your comment will help me take a deep dive into whatever area I need assistance with.
Listen, I’m not perfect, so don’t come for me.
Anywho! I could go on and on about my imperfections and laugh about them with you, but we won’t because that’s not what this post is about.
Today I want to know; what are your fitness goals? For instance, do you want to focus on weights, cardio, or learn something new?
Please take a little time and share your goals with me.
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

Really, I read and follow you because you’re so damn real . . . and I truly appreciate that. For example:
“Listen, I’m not perfect, so don’t come for me.”
I had to pause and re-read it because it made me smile. There’s no filler and you are who you are and you welcome others to be the same. Fitness goals? Really, I just want to maintain my sanity long enough to continue to do my job and enjoy life. I’ve already made certain changes on my end to exercise more–even bought an air fryer for healthier food preparations, and I am trying to reduce my carbs intake. I give myself a bit of grace b/c it has been hard, but I am capable of doing these things, and I have.
Bit by bit. Thank you for being here. Peace.

Tre!!! You have no idea how much I appreciate you 😩 you have made my night and I am grateful 🙏🏽
I am so proud of you for taking those steps. Air fryer is the greatest thing ever and cooks everything so evenly and quickly.
Bit by bit is all it takes. A little can and will go a long way!😍

Right now, to make it to the gym twice a week. It’s going fair, which means the last two weeks not so good, previous 4 better. That’s it right now. ❤️

My fitness goal is pretty simple, “DON’T DIE!!!” After numerous injuries and a bout of COVID my philosophy is to be fit enough to complete my Bucket List. To this end I walk for 30 – 40 minutes per day or do sandbag exercises for 12 minutes. Nothing too fancy for this middle aged man.
I hope my answer helps!

Intentional movement is my goal this year. I spend so much time behind a computer- engaging people- but still behind a computer. It starts at 4:30 am and maybe ends around 5 pm. I like what I do- but I need motivation to get me to make those intentional movements through out the day

Rose that’s an awesome goal!!! Set your alarm in your phone or watch so you can have that as a reminder to get up and move. Climbing a few stairs or strapping outside for some fresh air will do wonders. Please keep me posted. I’m rooting for you!
