Saturday Fit Tip

Stop with the quick fixes!

Quick fixes will put you right back where you started. Taking control of your eating habits and exercise regimen will keep you fit and healthy for the rest of your life.

Listen up!

The holidays are here, and there will be lots of holiday parties, late nights, early mornings, and repeat. Now, if you’re like me, then you opt out of most parties and party in our room with a charcuterie board, wine, and a good movie. But even then, you have to make sure you are drinking plenty of water and remain on a schedule that makes sense for you.

Gaining HOliday weight is easy to do, but getting it off will take months to undo.

So, take time right now to put a schedule in motion and stick with it. The worst thing you can do is begin your journey now and then slowly slip into an unhealthy routine that will leave you down in the dumps during that one week of limbo.

You know the week I’m talking about!

It happens the day after Christmas and ends on December 31st. Not only is that week a totally Debbie downer if you allow it to be, but so is January 1st. On January 1st, you look down at your swollen ankles, feet, hands, and belly that grew the size of Santas and think, HOW THE HELL DID I LET THIS SHIT HAPPEN AGAIN.

THEN YOU take off running out the door looking for any trainer with a pulse to help you, or even better; you search online for the best colon cleanse.

Let’s not be those people this year; can I get an AMEN?!

We are going to adopt new habits now and stick with them during the Holiday Seasons, so we feel good, look good, and act good!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. I’m already there dang it! Being on the road again doesn’t help. Not moving enough, eating fast or cheap food, has got me freaking out. I plan to get back to it the minute we anywhere longer than a day!
