Being comfortable in your skin comes from something other than being a specific size.
There is a difference between being healthy and searching for happiness by being slim. It’s so important to know this because thousands of people have tried every diet known to man while on the hunt to find slender town. Then, when they reached their goal weight, they found the same sadness they always carried.
The outside was the way they always wanted it to be, but they were still broken internally.
We have to start directing our attention inward and begin working inside out. Inside is the most beautiful part, anyway!
Please have a wonderful Saturday, my beautiful people.
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

I’ve done all that. Been dieting almost all my adult life. Now I’m okay with how I look.

Yep Queen B, you pretty much nailed this darn thing. I believe that we see too many unrealistic images that make us frown upon how we look externally. I say look your best and be your best with who you are and not the image people having a lot of nips and tucks done to make us think they are natural that way. Nope!
They forget that when all of the fakeness has to be constantly maintained and is fading away, either they get deeply depressed or do more nips and tucks! Sad. 😣

Yes Kym you are right! Nips and tucks can only take you so far. We need so much more than that to reach happiness.

Me either and even if I did, I hate hospitals and recovering from a surgery. I’ll take all my flaws and drink to them. LOL

My sister and I adopted the “good enough,” theory a long time ago. It goes like this, “I’m good enough looking. I’m a good enough parent. I have a good enough body. I’m good enough in the kitchen,” and so forth. Perfection is unattainable and it doesn’t make you happy. Being satisfied and grateful for who and what I am makes me happy. Hugs, C
