~Saturday Fit Tip~

But did you die, though? I say this to myself once or twice a week.

I will be the first to tell you that you should train smart, not hard. However, once a week, we all need to kick our ass by pushing ourselves to the limit.

Our mind is the strongest muscle in our body!

Our mind controls everything that we can accomplish. All we have to do is convince ourselves that we can do easy shit, moderate shit, and hard shit. It all boils down to how hard you want this shit.

  • If you tell yourself that you will never do a burpee, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you will never do a sit-up, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you never run a mile, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you never cycle a mile, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you will never lift a 30lb dumbbell, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you will never lose weight, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you will never walk a mile, then you WON’T
  • If you tell yourself that you will never be able to eat healthily, then you WON’T

Your mind is the only thing preventing you from upping your fitness. We psych ourselves out because of fear.

We FEAR letting ourselves down as well as others. And we also put age limits on ourselves, “I’m too old to get back in good shape,” Or “I’ve had kids, and my body changed forever, and now it’s impossible for me to lose weight.”

If you feel it’s impossible to lose weight, visiting your doctor is in order. Blood tests are necessary to tell you if your body is functioning the way it should, and chances are it isn’t. But the good news is your doctor can help you figure that out and get you on the right track.

Yearly physicals for females and males are a MUST!!!!

Get your body checked out and get ready to kick your ass with a workout that leaves you on the ground worn out and saying THAT WAS THE HARDEST THING I’VE EVER DONE, But I didn’t die.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Good inspiration! And good point about a doctor visit with testing to ensure something doesn’t need to be medically addressed in order for the body to work as it should.
