Debating Update!

So yesterday, I was a lot unsure of what to do about my kid’s dentist appointment. In case you missed it, please click Debating….. to go to my post from yesterday.

Yesterday’s concerns…

First Dilemma

~My 3 kids had a dentist appointment, and I was unsure if I should cancel the appointments. I didn’t want to alarm my kids and have them think that I, too, am becoming overly paranoid. The last thing that I want is for my kids to become just as chaotic as the people clearing all shelves that once housed toilet paper.

So after a lot of thinking, we decided to cancel. I was actually still thinking it through when I received a text message from my husband saying, “DONE.”

Evidently, he called and stated that “in the best interest of the kids, we would like to reschedule for a later date.” So Wohoooo for him…he’s a keeper.

Second Dilemma

~ I’m an online coach as well as a one on one face to face coach. I visit a few clients in person, and the ones I do totally depend on our time together.

My problem with not seeing my clients was simple, I didn’t want to offend anyone. The last thing I want for my clients that are 70 and up is to feel hurt. Thinking that I see them as a big germ. Rest assured, I don’t in any way shape or form feel that way. But I do believe that everyone should take extra precautions and stay safe.

My beautiful sister wrote this statement, and I’m going to cut and paste this word for word to all my clients. I feel like it’s direct and polite.

“in lieu of recent events and the state of emergency, all workout contact will cease for the safety of my clients”. I will keep you all updated as the condition of our environment improves. I encourage you all to take the proper precautions to stay well.

Your fitness guru!

Cheers to my husband and sister for getting my words together or taking over when I am a tad bit confused!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. It’s ironic that I’m reading this outside my kids dentist appointment but they are taking them one by one and everybody is in the lives. I feel OK about it . Stay safe

    1. If you feel like they are safe then I’m sure they are! I think my kids would have been okay as well. Can’t wait for things to get back to normal. Stay safe too💗💗💗💗

      1. ugh!!!! You are probably right. Oh good for her. my little one will be getting them on in June. She was excited about her dentist appointment that my husband cancelled becuase they were going to talk to her about her braces.

      2. You did the right thing. We all need to make decisions that are best for us. Far better for you to be on the same team with your husband than be “right” or “wrong” about braces. That’s my opinion anyway. You are good!!!

  2. It’s tough to know when we’re being overly cautious or not.. and it’s a balance with living and being couped up indoors… I get it!!

    1. I get cabin fever really quick. I think more so than my kids do. So this is not going to be pretty. Micheals just sent me a text about crafts going on sale and fun things to do to keep your mind off of this situation. So I might go and check it out.

  3. I think you made the right decision! We have to be really careful right now and it’s really in everyones best interest to avoid contact for a while.
