If there’s one thing life has made abundantly clear, it’s that we’re not always in the driver’s seat, and that’s a reality we all share!
Life’s journey is like a rollercoaster, full of highs, lows, and unexpected turns. But with a positive mindset and a well-thought-out plan, we can navigate through even the most daunting situations.
Looking after yourself consists of constantly making sure you are okay and being mentally equipped to ensure you are able to bounce back when the unknown comes for your throat.
You may be thinking, how can I prep my mind to stay positive when life is, well, LIFING?
It’s easy to do once you tell yourself, ‘I have no other option but to make it out of this situation alive, and I can do it!’
Self-care should be talked about more. Without self-care, the risk of stress and burnout increases. So to prevent that, I dare you to do something for you—only you-this weekend or this week.
How are you looking after yourself?
I’m looking after myself by being still, watching holiday movies, and enjoying my own company.

Thanks, I needed to hear something like this. This past week I heard some ugly news about the organization that owns my building, and there’s been whispers that it’ll be insolvent by 2027. I don’t like uncertainty, but I hate hopelessness more. So I need to focus on keeping myself afloat, and not panicking over things that haven’t happened yet.

Staying positive is like our secret superpower. It can get us through the toughest of times, and looking after yourself – whether going for a walk or chilling and watching a favourite movie say – can all help you keep a positive mindset in the face of any challenge.
