Today, I was scrolling through TikTok and saw that a popular influencer committed suicide.
Her last post read, “I just couldn’t take no more, sorry y’all”!
It’s a stark reminder of the silent battles many of us face.
My first thought was, ‘Lord, I wish I had met her, so I could’ve told her that you are worthy, you matter, and people love you; you are not alone.
You never know someone’s battle
Knowing what everyone is battling is an impossible feat, and recognizing signs of loneliness can be equally challenging. But being kind is not. There are far too many people on this earth who feel like they are alone, and maybe they are. And with all of us being so wrapped up in our own lives, we often fail to recognize the signs of loneliness in the people we encounter.
Your positive words could be just what someone needs right now, in the midst of whatever they are battling. When you’re shopping at the grocery store, a quick hello or a smile can make a broken spirit whole again.
Have you ever smiled at someone, only to have them frown at you or roll their eyes?
Did they change your mood?
Whether it’s negative or positive actions, they can make you feel like today is going to be a good day or today I might go to jail if one more person piss me off.
You Matter, I Matter, We Matter
In the comment section of the repost about her current suicide, a lady responded to me and said, “Can I tell you, hon, today I feel like throwing in the towel”.
My prayer is that she reaches out to me, and when she does, I will lean on the Lord for the message that only He knows she needs to hear.
Happy Saturday! You all matter!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

That is so tragic, Bella. On the internet it is even easier to create a facade that fools everybody. And hate comments are abundant. Some people seem to use all their free time to send hate messages, what a useless life.
I hope the other lady will be o.k., and yes, every little kindness counts. ❤

Sone negative sides of social media is that it teaches some people to be fake. Also there are people who seek approval due to low self esteem or for some who where neglected in childhood. When social media gives someone the title of influencer there is pressure to be everything to all people. Sorry to heard this sad news.🙏

Oh you nailed it!!!!!! I can’t imagine trying to be so much to strangers. They lose themselves and it happens so often. We I see someone grow a huge audience over night I fear for their downfall. I know it’s coming and when it does they look like a broken person.

Awe bless her soul! She was doing what she could to matter and feeling like she deeply didn’t!

Sad. Thank you for sharing your inspiring message as a reminder to us to learn to listen, ask questions if we suspect there is a problem. Perhaps asking a question could save a life through conversation and knowing someone cares.
