Do you have any idea what it’s like to be in a relationship with a man who makes you feel like a man?

Some men will honor you for precisely the way you are, and then there are some who want you to match their energy. As a woman who loves all things girlie and pretty, I can tell you firsthand that the last thing I want to match is masculine energy. What’s crucial in a relationship is mutual respect, where both partners are valued for their unique qualities and contributions. 

Embracing femininity and vulnerability is not a sign of weakness, but a source of empowerment.

Pull my chair out, open my door, give me compliments, and don’t get huffy if I decide that I need to change clothes before we go somewhere because I feel fat.

Soft Girl Era

The “Soft Girl Era” is a beautiful trend or aesthetic that embraces femininity, vulnerability, and a gentle lifestyle. It’s a celebration of soft, pastel colors, delicate clothing, and a love for all things cute and girly. This era is a tribute to traits that are traditionally associated with femininity, such as kindness, emotional expression, and nurturing behavior.

In this context, being in a relationship during the Soft Girl Era can mean seeking partners who appreciate and honor these qualities, allowing for an atmosphere of affection and support rather than one that demands a more masculine energy. It’s about finding joy in being your authentic self, embracing your femininity, and adopting a more gentle, tender approach to life and relationships.

So ready for this time in my life

I was always told that I was a little rougher, more challenging, and more aggressive than most girls. So after hearing that for so many years, I became more of that. But what I wanted to be was;

  • Softer; I didn’t know how to be
  • Vulnerable; I was too scared to be
  • Less Argumentative; Who would’ve thought I could be

This is the point where I’m stumbling my way through my ‘Soft Girl Era’

      1. I’m not aggressive, but I often look angry or pissed off about something. It’s my “resting leave-me-alone” look. But I’m friendly, just not the average “white girl” stereotype.

        Ironically, my favorite game happens to be a super girly gacha game called Infinity Nikki. It was a game designed for women, and I love that. The drama on social media, however, because 90% of the ppl playing this game are 20-30+ year old women, is full of catty drama. I try to stay out of the drama since this girl ain’t got no time to deal with that.

  3. I am feminine, but not in a girly way. Despite me being rational in my thinking, no man has yet found me masculine. 😉 I think I found a way to embrace my very own femininity.

    My own era, the “one day at the time era” is sometimes hard to maintain. If I am able to though, I find it very peaceful.
