I thought we had more time together

Have you ever made plans, and then, at the last minute, all of your plans fell through?

Well, let me tell you what happened to me.

I woke up today with an attack plan for ending the month. Yeah, some of you are probably thinking, what are you talking about? The month is over.

And if you were one of those people, then you, my friend, are smarter than me. I don’t know what I was thinking when I filled in the dates on my calendar last month. Well, scratch that. I do know what I was thinking.

For some reason, I thought there were 31 days in the month, and my, my, was I wrong. This is why procrastination is the devil himself. I put off the things I knew I needed to do, and now I’ve missed my deadline.

So now I’m going to shake off my failures/procrastination downfall and get my act together.

So goodbye, April; I thought we had one more day together.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Maybe you’re thinking of February? We had an extra day in February this year, so borrow that day, stick it to the end of April and you’re not missing your deadline. Voila!

  2. The best laid plans trust me I know that’s why I don’t plan much. I’m very much like my sign apparently (Aquarius) lol, I’m aloof, spontaneous, somewhat disorganized and a major procrastinator, but I somehow pull it off, but I’ve done what you’ve done and got the number days in a month off, maybe some of those plans give me apply to me. I hope they can for you. Great story and keep writing. 😊

  3. Poor April, or is it poor, Belladonna? Well, it doesn’t really matter, it was a girls day together, that didn’t happen. Doesn’t time know, don’t keep a woman wanting, or ever play with their heart. Oh, shhh… it, girl, April, will be there for you, waiting, to spend some more time together! 😊😉
