But what if you win ~Part 2~

Don’t be afraid to win!

Over the years, I have seen people come close to the end zone and then fumble the ball. Could the fumble be due to overthinking, fear of success, fear of failure, or poor decision-making?

When I was reading the comments from part one, there was a recurring theme; “I put others before me.”

As a mom, wife, and entrepreneur, I say this is FACTS!!!!

Not only do parents overthink and have a million things to do, but on top of that, we put our kids before us ALL THE TIME. We want them to win so badly that we will put our potential win on the back burner. 

But what I have come to realize is that if we remove ourselves from the back burner and turn that front burner on high, we become so hot that we not only win, but our fire ignites everyone around us. OUR win can have a domino effect on everyone who depends on us.

When your fire burns out, so does a little piece of your passion. Believe it or not, everyone can see an adverse turn in your demeanor and the positive electricity you once carried. 

You must keep sight of your fire!

If you win, everyone around you will desire to win. Your work ethic will inspire your family more than your words. Your actions speak louder than your words ever will, and that within itself can spark fires everywhere you go.

I’ve learned that most of us aren’t afraid to lose, but we’re too tired to put forth the effort to win. 

I know this is easier said than done but pour into yourself before you pour into anyone else. We have to make sure our fire is lit and burning high as hell for the world to see. 

No more saying;

  • What if I lose
  • I’ll worry about me later
  • My kids come first
  • My spouse comes first
  • I’m afraid to lose

So instead, I ask, “What if you run the ball in the end zone and win”?
