~Saturday Fit Tip~What about THE BAD DAYS

They aren’t going anywhere; in fact, expect to have them.

It’s easy to be productive and stay on course when you’re having a good day. You know, the type of day where everything is going as planned, and all is well in your world.

Those are the days we live for and depend on.

But unfortunately, the bad days are in the shadows, lurking in the dark, waiting to rear its ugly, pathetic face!

And we have to be ready. Geared up in our finest of armor and be prepared to fight. These are the days that define us. They determine how passionate we are about achieving our goals. Folding under pressure is not an option.

These are the days that we start to make excuses as to why we can’t get shit done. We begin to believe what we are saying and allow the excuses to creep into our minds. Meanwhile, the goals we set are being diminished expeditiously.

We can’t allow that to happen.

So here’s what we have to do!

  1. Make a schedule
  2. Choose what time of day you are at your strongest and workout
  3. Meal prep so you are prepared for the unknown
  4. Clean out your circle of fake ass friends and put people around you that change the way you think
  5. Talk nice to yourself
  6. Be a blessing to others
  7. Say something positive to a stranger (You’ll be amazed how strong this makes you feel mentally and physically)
  8. Cleaning your house and bringing order into your life is excellent for your mental health.

All of these things may not seem like they work together, but they do. They all prepare you to be your best self. And if you are at your best self, you are better equipped to tackle THE BAD DAYS.

  1. I would like to add – have something to look forward to – as a way to handle bad days. Yesterday I had a day with several appointments. One place made a mistake with my booking and I had to reschedule my entire day to help them fix their scheduling mistake. The last minute change was really stressful but I had a social event in the evening and that ended the day on a positive note.
