Don’t put it off until tomorrow!
Procrastination can be the thief of joy, yet many of us continue doing it. And when we do, it can become a bit difficult to get going on the right track finally.
Join me back here tomorrow so we can discuss procrastination.
However, in the meantime, please leave me a word story about how you avoid procrastination or how you’re able to break the cycle.
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

I like quotations. They are short and easy to remember. They nag at you more than a long discussion.
I need to find a good quotation about “dusting”. 😦 I will do anything to put off doing that.

I make a list of the the week, day by day, keeping track of all of our schedules at the bottom, I write things I want to accomplish. I get satisfaction highlighting off the items. I also sometimes set a time if I am not in the mood, so like, I am only going to clean for 30 minutes. Etc.

What you said is so true, Belladonna. I love this post! 🤍🌻🌺
Back in nursing school, I had a class where the syllabus said we’d be writing 12 papers and it told the subjects. So, I read ahead and took an entire weekend and wrote all 12 papers. Then, when they were due, I just turned them in and there was no stress about it. I tend to work best when there is a deadline.

Procrastination enables my anxiety and even small steps of planning help to get to my end goal. Procrastination likes to tempt self doubt. Sometimes we just have to get up and do the thing, we will look back and feel empowered!

Procrastinators build monuments of nothing and bridges that lead to nowhere. Those that live this way seldom do anything else.
