Saturday Fit Tip~Bored~

Do you want to change your current workout routine?

Becoming bored with your workout routine is expected; we all need to switch things up to keep our mind, body, and spirit in the game.

For instance, you might feel overwhelmed or bored if you rush home from work to get your 45 minutes of cardio and strength training in and then cook, clean, run the kids around, and power down for the day.

Maybe, just maybe, you should consider waking up a tad bit earlier to get your workout done. That way, when you come home from work, you can focus on the tasks that need to be done.

You’ll find you’re less stressed from the hustle and bustle and more open-minded about switching up your workouts, Therefore preventing you from being bored.

Switching up your tempo can create a whole new version of you that you didn’t know existed.

Happy Training!

If you have yet to listen to my latest podcast, I hope you do today.

  1. I wish I could work out but due to my unfortunate physical disabilities and chronic pain, it’s nearly impossible for me to do anything anymore now a days. Just doing something as simple as cooking or doing laundry puts me in a whirlwind of excruciating pain. I miss when I were able to go to the YMCA and work out. But those days are over for me. It’s a struggle just to take care of my Grand Daughter and chase her around.

      1. Not at all, I totally get it. My mind would always wonder away. It takes time to really minnow how to do it, well it at least it took me a bit to learn. But it feels so nice and when I’m Donne it feels like I took a nap.

  2. Hello beautiful Belladonna. You are so right. Before my neck surgery I was getting up at 4:30 and meeting with my trainer at 5:00 am. The gym was 15 minutes away. After work three days a week I did a hard work out class for 45 months. I felt amazing and did have so much more energy. Hope life has been good to you. Blessings my friend. ❤️

    1. Hi Joni!!!!!!! So good to see you over here. It’s funny you should say that, I plan to start an earlier workout this week and aiming for 6am, we’ll see how that goes.

Neck surgery sounds so scary!!!! Did it take long to heal?

  3. I love how positive you always are. I’m in a wheelchair, but I’m weight-bearing, so I can stand for short periods. I have to be careful because I fall a lot. Two weeks ago, I fell partway down our front staircase. Not cool. lol But I’m all right. Anyway, it feels so good to stretch. And I also got this hula-hoop thing that’s lightly weighted, so it’s minimal movement and I’m hoping I’ll be able to use it. Something is better than nothing, right? 🤍🌺

    1. OMG!!!! Are you sure you’re okay??? That’s horrible and I hope you aren’t badly bruised. it seems that falls like that tend to hurt a few days after it happens.

I’ve seen the hula hoop and apparently it works wonders. Yes stretching, yoga and meditation is so good for you and it something I want to do before I start each day, but yoga is sooooooo hard. I;m not flexible at all anymore.

      1. Oh yes, I am fine now. All my x-rays were good. I’ll agree with that! It hurt worse the next day. But I’m all right. 🙂

I’ve heard yoga is so good for you, but I have never tried it. I’ll let you know how the hula hoop goes. I’ve been watching videos on it. 😀
