You are not the VICTIM

Don’t throw the first punch and then wonder why your ass just got knocked out!

Do you know someone that throws jabs at you? You know, the type of jabs that only you can hear. And then, when you get fed up, you fight back, and all hell breaks loose.

Here’s the thing, a few people in your life would like to be seen as the victim. If they are the victim, pity will flood into their lives, validating and rewarding their lewd behavior.

And you know what happens next, right?

Well, if you don’t, please allow me to tell you. All eyes will be on you, and crooked fingers will be pointing at you for being the bad guy. Someone always has to be the bad guy, and no one wants to take ownership of their wrongdoing. So lies or untruths (whichever word you want to use) will be told about you.

Which will then leave you with two options

You may have more options, but I’ll give you the two that work well for me.

OPTION #1

Pray about the situation and leave it with God. Leaving your problem with God can sometimes be difficult, But guess what? It’s not your problem, nor should it be your concern. So dump that situation off and continue to live the life you deserve and have acquired to live.

OPTION #2

If you have done what you needed to do in option #1, then option #2 doesn’t exist! 

The next time you are faced with a “victim,” I want you to read this.

Dear “Victim,”

I no longer feel your punches, jabs, slaps, and insults. You don’t have the power to make me happy, tear me down, or receive a reaction towards your actions.

I am stronger because of you 

I have the courage you tried to snatch from me

I have abilities that you can only dream of

I am free from all the evil you wished on me

I am free from all the demons you wished on me

I am free
