Change Clothes: Tik Tok and Reels

Are you on TikTok, or do you use Reels on Instagram?

I swore against using TikTok, but my sister is always on there, and she is hilarious. Well, long story short, I have yet to learn how to utilize that app.

But I do know how to use reels on Instagram. With that being said. I have made two videos that cracked myself up. I’m learning not to take myself too seriously on any social media platform. The point of having social media is so we can be Social!

I have learned so many things about social media, and the more I learn, the more I refuse to be too serious. Followers come and GO more often than I change underclothes. So why get on Instagram and be anyone other than YOU?

Facts

  1. People are going to talk about you no matter what
  2. Instagram followers will go through phases where they like and then realize “ugh, not so much.”
  3. This is your life, so live it and have fun doing it.
  4. Having fun and laughing at yourself makes life so much better.
  5. We want to be on this earth forever.

Once I wrote all of my facts down. I said to hell with it! I’m about to have some fun and just be me. I like to laugh, and I tend to look at the brighter side of any situation. Yes! I do get down from time to time.

Who doesn’t? But I lift myself up quickly with a little pep talk. And then I bounce on. I refuse to let anything keep me down for long. I’m blessed to be alive, so I’m going to enjoy every last minute of it! And yes, that includes doing Reels on Instagram. They bring me freaking joy. If you haven’t tried them, then I strongly suggest that you do.

I did the first one in my workout clothes with dye on my edges (screw you grey hair). Then I transformed into a lady that’s ready to dance the day away. I was so tickled when I saw the finished product that, I just had to do another one. I have a few more in the works. So stay tuned.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Life is too short to be “fake” on social media, and I think that obsessing over followers can be really bad for mental health. While I much prefer TikTok to that newish feature on Instagram, I just find the videos on there are generally more funny, though I also know TikTok can be rather toxic.

    1. Such a waste of time to worrry about followers. Yes I think Tik Tok is hilarious. Just such a time suck. I will probably use it to promote my business and create some funny videos and just have fun.
