It’s NOvember

NOvember!

NOvember is a special month! It kicks off the most wonderful time of the year. People are in better moods, decorating, and enjoying spending time with the ones they love. And the best part is getting a little bit of rest from doing the same old thing day after day.

However, amid the festive cheer, we often find ourselves overextending ourselves. It’s crucial to remember that it’s not only okay, but empowering to say NO TO things and people that threaten your peace. Setting boundaries is a powerful act of self-care that puts you in control of your well-being.

As we step into this month and the ensuing holiday season, it’s vital to prioritize your mental health. Say NO to anything that jeopardizes it. Remember, your well-being is important and deserves your attention.

1. NO TO Unhealthy habits: Whether it’s junk food, smoking, or excessive drinking, remember that your health is your most valuable asset

2. NO TO Overcommitment: Your time and energy are precious. It’s easy to say yes to everything, but remember to protect them by avoiding overcommitment.

3. NO TO Toxic relationships: Your mental well-being is essential. Choose to be around people who are uplifting and clapping for you just as much as you are clapping for them.

4. NO TO Peer pressure: Stick to your values and beliefs, even when others try to sway you.

5. NO TO Procrastination: Don’t put off essential tasks; tackle them head-on instead.

6. NO TO Negative self-talk: Reject thoughts that undermine your confidence and self-worth. You are worthy and capable.

7. NO TO Unnecessary responsibilities: Learn to delegate or ask for help when it becomes overwhelming.

8. NO TO Perfectionism: Understand that it’s okay to make mistakes and that perfection isn’t always attainable.

9. NO TO Comparison: Focus on your own journey rather than measuring yourself against others.

10. NO TO Fear of failure: Embrace risks and view failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback.

These are just a few things to consider saying NO in order to enhance your well-being and happiness!

  1. while I love things around Christmas..mostly involves being outside and I actually like modern Christmas tunes (Christmas Wrap!) but well I see dark clouds coming. my sister is coming for a visit to see our mom next month, we’ve not spoken since my dad passed away in June…and I’m not over it, haven’t moved on, and sorry not sorry….not sure how I’m going handle any interactions if there are any…..or, I may just ignore her and carry on with the rest of my family time
