Six Words Is All I GOT

I would love to read six words about how you handle liars.

I’ll go first!

YOU CHOSE LIES; I CHOSE FREEDOM

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. I know it’s 7 words, but ‘we shall overcome one day’ whenever I hear that song, those words, I always get emotional….those words mean so much, along with ‘this too shall pass.’

      1. Thank you for appreciating! 🙏🏻 Your post made me think about former students who turned in plagiarized papers and then they’d proceed to argue with me when I called them out on it, telling me they wrote the paper. (That’s what the plagiarism checker is for and why I threatened to resign when admin said it wasn’t in the budget to keep the software. They found the money.) Anyway, I gave students a zero, wrote them up, and called parents. Now, I think I’d spend more time asking students (privately) why they felt the need to do that. Lack of understanding? Time, etc. Maybe I’d work with them to make better choices. So many factors that work against young people. Thanks for letting me share, this. Best to you, Coach B.
