Embracing Life’s Messy Journey

In the workshop of life, I’m a peculiar sight,

With tools all around me, and a few things not right.

Some days I’m a masterpiece, shining and new,

Then I trip on my laces—oops, what can I do?

My patience is cooking, but it’s still half-baked,

I ask for some peace, but then I’m wide awake.

I pray for more love, but I still slam the door,

And then trip on my ego, right down to the floor!

I want to be humble, but pride takes the lead,

As I strut like a peacock, forgetting my creed.

I ask for a miracle, “Just make me brand new,”

But somehow, God laughs and says, “There’s more work to do!”

So I stumble and fumble through life’s crazy game,

And every mistake, well, I’ll just blame it on fame!

With grace overflowing, like a cup at the brim,

I’m a hot mess for sure—just don’t look at Him!

So here’s to the journey, the ups and the downs,

The laughter, the tears, and the awkward clown frowns.

God’s still got my number, His work’s just begun,

If you think I’m a project, well, I’m still having fun!

So let’s raise a glass (or a coffee cup too)

To all of us misfits, you know who you grew!

God’s busy refining, though I’m a quirky sight,

Just remember—progress is better than perfect, alright?

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
