It’s Official!

The wait is over!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here-the start of the most wonderful time of the year!

As soon as the clock strikes midnight on November 1st, it is officially time to put up all your Christmas decorations and bust out your favorite Holiday movies. 

Anyone who says otherwise can kiss my grits!

Also, if any of you say, “Well, what about Thanksgiving”? The best answer to that is, “What about it?” 

Let’s just say we are starting the Christmas season a little early this year, and that’s perfectly okay. The world needs a little cheer, lights, corny yet funny movies playing, and a little razzle-dazzle.

How I’m looking after myself this weekend

Starting today, I am looking after myself by taking down all of my Halloween decor, cleaning my house, and starting on my Christmas decorations. I will begin my Christmas wonderland, a cozy and festive space filled with twinkling lights, garlands, and ornaments, during the day and retreat to my room with a bottle of wine at night and watch Christmas movies.

  8. Hey, glad your excited. Holidays are the worst time of year for me. My family traditional celebration died when my father passed away. No one enjoyed the Holidays more than him. However, I do love the decorations and I do my house up every year. I do volunteer work at food kitchens it helps me to be with others during this time of year.

  16. I don’t know the movie or TV series the photo is from. I won’t kiss your gits either 😉 … but I am only decorating on 1st December. Some of the neighbours have already their light garlands out. I think that they never take them down, so that they just have to switch them on. I would like to have some of these icicle chains for along the roof, that looks so cosy. We don’t have room for a Christmas tree in the new house, but we put the decorations wherever.

    We looked after ourselves with fitness training, good food and music playing. It was nice!

  20. I went to Fogo De Chao yesterday, large Christmas tree 🎄 in the bar, lol 😆 You would’ve loved it 🤣. It was beautiful 😍 I personally don’t put up a tree until after Thanksgiving. I don’t even want to hear Christmas music until after Thanksgiving lol But i love people that decorate early, it makes me happy. We need more happiness and kindness

    1. First off I love that restaurant and love how that they decorated already. If you were to see my house you would be in a winter wonderland. LOLOLOL
