Look after yourself Friday

Well, well, well, look at you!

Get over here and give me a big wet kiss. Okay, let me take that back. I just had a bad, cringy feeling when I typed that. That reminded me of the old, crusty men at my childhood church. They always gave me the chills, and all the younger girls avoided them like the plague.

The old men’s eyes were offesive and said HELLO before they did and my eyes said “GOODBYE, and I’ll snap your neck if you even think about touching me”. It’s a memory that still gives me the chills, and I’m sorry if any of you have similar experiences from your past.

Okay, snap back, Bella, and get back on track!

Let me start over. Hello all, and Happy Friday. I’m so glad that we all made it back here to see a beautiful new day. We are blessed, my friends; so many people had to leave this earth this week to join their God. But for whatever reason, God saw fit to keep us for another week. 

So, with that being said, enjoy this day and make the best of it today!

Look After Yourself Friday

How I’m Looking After Myself

Last weekend, I was eager to see Joker, but time slipped away from me. However, today, I’m thrilled to finally watch it. I’m excited to share this experience with y’all. 

If you have followed my blog for a bit, you know how much I love Joaquin Phoenix and admire how well he played his role in the first Joker. Now, I’m not blown away about Lady Gaga being his love interest, but I’ll give it a go anyway.

We shall see how it goes!

  3. If Joaquin Phoenix is the Joker, the movie will be great!

    We don’t have plans for the weekend, most probably playing music and going on an excursion if the weather allows.

    To the topic at the start, yes, there was one person like that, unfortunately family. But I could avoid him. In my generation people like that were never properly held accountable. Alas, water under the bridge.

  7. My elementary school used to take walking field trips to the nursing home down the road. I remember complaining to one of my teachers about a gropey man – she told me to be nice. 😕 Will be a relaxing, enjoying time outside kind of weekend. Thanks Coach and a wonderful weekend to you!

  8. Happy belated Friday! I hope you enjoy the movie when you see it. I liked him in Walk the Line. This weekend our son is visiting from Colorado, so we’ll be out and about with him. It’s great when your adult kids still love hanging out with their parents. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

  11. Curious to know what you thought of Joker, if you got a chance to watch. I wasn’t into Lady Gage being his love interest either, but haven’t seen the movie yet. The first one was pretty good, it was a different take on the usual Joker but I like something different at times. 😊
