Hola! 

I didn’t think I would make it on here today, but here I am! 

How I’m looking after myself today

I have two little Libras demanding my time this weekend, and I love it because I LOVE planning parties for my little people.

So my first little Libras birthday is today, and my oldest is on Sunday!

When I tell y’all that I’ve been doing party prepping all day, I mean ALL DAY minus the couple hours we took my 14-year-old to dinner. And tomorrow, I will be hosting her party, which means we’ll have a house full of teenagers, 20 to be exact. Oh, and the best part is, this party will be another MURDER MYSTERY DINNER PATRY!

I can’t wait!

I will share my weekly podcast with you on Sunday instead of today because it fits the occasion. I’ll share the link in my post like I do every week.

  9. today in Canada we have a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. and for some reason woke up angry……it’s a day to honor, remember, understand the awful history of Canada’s indigenious peoples, children….it’s a horrible history….I didn’t sleep a lot just thinking of this, and how little has changed..we’re still a country of hatred, intolerance, and it’s getting worse. I thought my generation wold be the ones to change things…..I look around at people, people I used to call friends, and am angry….I went to school with these people, and the homophobic, racist, bigots they’ve become…I know that Canada is not unique in this, but we were lead to believe that this country was different, we were different, but nope…..we’re going backards, we should change our national anthem to home a hatred lands….sorry, but this seems to be my day to rant..and wish for change

    1. Thank you for expressing that Warren and this is the space for it. I couldn’t agree with you more Warren, I’m shocked when I see people that I grew up with turning into racist pieces of shit. They say some of the most hateful things and are part of the problem.

      I sure hope you are feeling better today!
