The One Where She Slayed Her Demons ~Chapter 47~

I’ve been waiting for this chapter my entire life!

This is the chapter where I win against everything that held me hostage. I’ve trained my entire life for this moment, and now I’m gearing up for the most important attack I will face.

Throughout my blog, I write about not quitting, loving yourself, putting yourself first, staying accountable to your goals, focusing on being a good person, loving the people that love you, and always pushing boundaries.

If you stay uncomfortably comfortable, the Demon will slay you!

I’ve been tired of being uncomfortably comfortable, so I made a plan as to how I would slay all of my demons one by one; therefore allowing me to step into the person I know I was meant to be.

You see, this world doesn’t owe you anything, regardless of your rough beginning or middle; in the end, you must physically take what you want. If we waited for our winnings to fall in our lap, we would be waiting for our entire life.

So many of us have Demons we have to slay to make our path clear. How can we possibly see the blessings coming our way if we are holding on to the bullshit that is constantly leaving us feeling broken and used?

We are worthy to win the fight against every damn Demon that stepped in front of us and made us feel as though they had us by the throat—holding us hostage and replaying bad episodes that we want to forget. Hoping that if we ignore the episodes, we can begin to heal.

But it doesn’t work like that. Ignoring or suppressing a problem will only make it magnify! Making the Demon(s) Bigger and more difficult to handle.

But with preparation and a plan, the Demons don’t stand a chance.

This is my year; I feel it; I’ve planned for it; I’ve worked for it, and damn it, I DESERVE IT!

  9. there’s an exercise that Lululemon had us do during covid, I think it was to list I think 5 people that were important to us….none of us listed ourselves.
