Now y’all, no, I hate these made-up days, but I thought I would pause my regularly scheduled post to get in on this.
My daughter sent me a text this morning, and I said, “Happy International Peace Day.” And I politely said, “what the HELL.” But I quickly hearted the message because I knew she truly meant it.
Unlike her mother, she’s adorable and not as sarcastic, so now I’m spreading the joy to all of you…I guess.
So with that being said, Happy International Peace Day, whatever that means.

National Days are the bullshit “our” government comes up when they feel tgey have nothing better to do, because this is international it means a whole lot of countries one day like in the U.N. just said “What bit of importantance whould we do today ?” “Well, unlike other countries run by douchebag dictators…” “…Yeah, I move to call this International Peace Day!”
