Happy Birthday To Me…. Chapter 46

Today is my birthday, and it feels like an average day!

I’m thankful I woke up and can move around independently. I know there are so many that wish they could do the same. But I can’t shake my blues. Lord, knows I’m trying my hardest to feel better.

We celebrated early

A couple of Saturdays ago, my husband and son left our house at 10:00 am and finally showed up at 5:00 pm. I had no idea where they had gone, but when they arrived home, it was evident they had gone birthday shopping.

They walked into the kitchen with balloons, two cakes, and a HUGE, beautiful bag full of gifts.

I opened everything from sneakers to books, Gucci sunglasses, and perfume my son picked out. And for a special bonus, my daughter FacedTimed me as I opened my gifts. She has a unique way that brightens up my day. Her sense of humor is one of a kind and will have you laughing harder than you ever have. 

My day was made!

So it’s okay if I’m feeling some kind of way today. My birthday celebration turned out to be everything I hoped it to be. So for that, I’m grateful.

    1. Thank you LaShelle! It started off rocky but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m looking forward to everything God has in front of me.
