Happiness makes the world go round

What’s one thing that makes you happy?

Wait, before you answer I want to switch the rules up a bit. Please answer this question as raw and honest as you can. I don’t want politically correct answers or Lord is my savior answers. 

We spend too much of our life saying things that sound good.

We keep it real over here on Belladonna’s Flashlight, and no one can judge us for it. However, if they do, I will delete the comment and keep it moving. So with that being said, let’s have some fun with our answers.

I’ll start us out!

One thing that makes me happy is knowing that I don’t give one damn about anybody that doesn’t like me. In the past, I would beat myself up when I thought about someone not liking me. Now, I question if I like you. 

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  4. What makes me incredibly happy is being out and no longer closeted as bi. The days of extreme sadness no longer stick to my skin. I love myself wholly and completely knowing I don’t have to be hiding in a dark space, afraid to be who I am. What makes me even happier is the fact that my family *knew* and didn’t shun me at all even though I spent decades believing they would.

  9. Girl, you are a true Cancerian to your heart (of gold that is). Raw and uncensored huh? Simple pleasures make me happy, like eating a fantastic seafood entree, or working out in the yard, on the sunshine beaming all around me, or the flora and butterflies, or sometimes just sitting still. 🤗😘🥰 The simple things seem to make me the happiest, but even in complex situations, I find a learning opportunity, and when I am learning or creating, girlfriend, I am in my zone!!! 💃🏽🎶🥂

  10. Taking all the credits for something I worked my ass out makes me happy! Instead of being a fake gentle being to shove the praise on people who don’t even know the abc of the hell I went through.My achivement My hardwork and so are the fruits of success. Sounds Bliss but much of a practical taboo. Great post btw✨

  18. Awesome question and one that made me think this morning.

    What makes me happy is knowing my cyberbullying triggers are minimizing! I use to turn into an emotional mess when I saw the return of the content in the domain in my name created by others online but these days, I am able to laugh at their continual attempts to control me and what I do in my life.

    I have no fear anymore and it makes me very happy!!
