The Wait Is Over ~August 27th~

The air was hot, and the sun was beating against our skin!


The crowd was so electrifying. They were on their feet and screaming from the top of their lungs. I can’t believe how different the atmosphere is this year. Just last year, it felt like we were walking into a funeral home, but now there is life… loud life.

And I can’t get enough!

The boys stepped on the football field, and right from the beginning, our team outworked their opponents. I hate to brag, but my son played one of his best games thus far in his football career, which makes me feel like my hard work of feeding this child has paid off.

Over the past year, he went from 225 pounds to 265. He is 6’4 and quick. His coach was quoted in a write-up saying, “if you saw this kid last year, then you won’t recognize him this year.”

All of my meal prepping has paid off. But more importantly, my son’s self-esteem is through the roof.

We will continue our winning streak tonight!
