It was too early in the morning to see what I saw, and with my teenage daughter, too.
The other day, I was chauffeuring my daughter around, as I always do. We were laughing, talking, and listening to good music as we cruised through the streets on a sunny July day.
Our last stop of the morning was the grocery store. We grabbed what we needed and began to make our way through the parking lot. As we were about to turn right, which would have taken us out of the parking lot, I saw something too much to take in.
It made me look at my daughter, and we both said Oh yuck!
There were two people who looked like they were trying to swallow each other whole. Their hands were fondling over each other’s bodies, and they didn’t look like they were going to come up for air anytime soon.
In fact, rumor has it they are still fondling and kissing to this day!
When we drove away, I couldn’t help but wonder why they were in the back of the grocery store parking lot at 10:30 am, kissing like they were two drunks that just left a nightclub. And let me add, we DO NOT live around any nightclubs. We are in the suburbs, where everything closes on or before 10 pm.
So, why two people who were wearing non-grocery store clothes or any other attire that would lead them to be there for a reason is a mystery to me.
The story I made up in my head for them
As a writer, I immediately had to drum up a story for them, and it kind of went like this;
Two people who had searched for love for so long, and when they spotted each other on Tinder, they knew they were meant to be.
The lovebirds met a week ago, and after sharing a Mexican meal and a few margaritas, they haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other. Before leaving for work, they met at a local grocery store, they parked their cars and walked to the quaint cafe.
After breakfast, they stared into each other’s eyes and felt their passion for one another burning. They couldn’t wait to get out of the cafe and make it back to their car, where they locked lips and groped each other.
Then a car appeared with two passengers, who had a look of disgust on their faces. As the car drove away, the driver wished she had honked and yelled, “Get a room!” But she kept it classy and kept driving.
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

I remember back in 83 (we just started dating) me and my wife were going at full tongue ahead in the Walgreens parking lot. A lady strolled pass and began to smile and giggle. We stopped and smiled back at her. Oh well, we could not control our young raging hormones. Um we still can’t, just these hormones are a lot older now. 🙂

Where is KissCam when you need one? 🤣 I’m thinking you and your daughter caught a glimpse of two people married to other people and the back of the grocery store was the one place they thought they would have privacy. But they thought wrong, obviously. Hope your lunch wasn’t ruined!
