Look After Yourself

Well, looka there, we made it to FRIDAY!

Who’s doing what? A who’s going where?

This weekend, I’m all set for an exciting lineup of activities-reading, writing, savoring some wine, indulging in delicious food, and prepping for a grand Thanksgiving feast.

And the cherry on top?

Next Friday we’re off to my son’s final regular collegiate football game!

Your turn!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Tonight I’m going to a museum with my bestie, my cultural companion 🙂

Sunday I’m having a chinwag with another who lives much further away.

In between? I’m making me something good to eat and will share a glass with my beau through the internets.

  2. I will eat a hearty meal tonight, I’m taking my car in to have the oil changed tomorrow, I’ll also get it washed, grocery shop, rest, read, cook, and relax for the weekend. I’ve been looking forward to Friday since Monday. 😂🤣😆

    1. Girl LOLOLOLOL, me too!!!!! I sure hope they don’t find anything wrong with your car. You know how that mess goes. The mechanics tried to get me last week. And I know good and damn well there wasn’t anyhting wrong with my car, I just had 15,000 bucks worth of work don, llast summer. I have a lifetime warranty so I let them work their magic on my car.

      1. Haha. Oh, they know not to play with me. My father, although a minister, is also a mechanic and a welder. My stepfather is a mechanic, too. They taught me how to pay attention to how my car sounds, to always get the oil changed and fluids flushed regularly, check my tire pressure, etc.

The only thing that needs to be assessed in a couple of months is a minor shock leak. That’s only going to cost me about $270.00. I’m going to have that repaired on December 21st.

  3. I baked bread for the weekend. It is frosty here right now, so we won’t do too many outdoorsy activities. There is a Christmas market in the town hall, I guess we will have a look. Good wine and food is included in the plan as well 😉
    Have a good one! 🙂

      1. Have a great time. I survived Thanksgiving. Going to see Wicked tonight (late), tomorrow I am doing some small business shopping, and Sunday I am visiting my aunt honey. I hope your son gets a W!
