Down The Rabbit Hole

Have you ever been down a rabbit hole?

The rabbit hole of true crime, that is. If not, I strongly suggest you watch a case or two on YouTube. After all, knowledge is power, and refusing to be powerless against a deranged lunatic is a win.

To think that the worst will never happen to you is a thought that I’m sure every victim had before they were brutally murdered.

Watching true crime is a pastime of mine; I’ve watched hundreds of interviews with murderers, victims, the family members of the deceased victims, and the snitches.

On YouTube, you can watch a plethora of cases, and the snitches give some of the most interesting interviews.

So today, as I started hanging all of my Christmas decorations, I had a true crime playing; I know what you are thinking, “What, no Christmas music”?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Christmas music will be played after I am done and sipping on a glass of wine; until then, I need some form of entertainment playing so I don’t get bored with putting in hours upon hours of work.

The true crime that I chose was of a “snitch” telling the police word-for-word conversations that he had with people who knew of a murder that had just taken place. Evidently, the victim was missing for one day, and her husband and close friends were looking for her. Well, that is until the truth was told to her friend.

This led this friend to high tell it to the police station to tell everything he knew. He sang like a bird and spared no details.

The whole time he was speaking, I felt like I was listening to my girlfriend spilling some hot, juicy tea (gossip), and I have no idea how the officers were able to keep a straight face while he spilled all the gossip he knew. At times I forgot I was listening about an innocent lady who was missing/dead because he went into detail about margaritas, nails, chicken, and cheaters.

Stay safe, and remember, knowledge is power!

You could have chosen a blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

      1. Yeah there was like 1500 active users, and i worked the chatroom and comments. It was a semi open group, lots of trolls and would start trouble so i would have to remove them, by doing so i would get threats regularly. At the end and was why I left was because the owner started trolling as well.

      2. Toxic wasnt even the word for it.. i stayed off all social media for about a month or so, but made.me take a hard look at all the hatred in the world and just how much it seems that “they” are winning the war of keeping people from getting along with each other.

  1. Would you believe me if I said I saw every law and order episode. And I’m aiming to watch every “First 48” I stumble upon. I sometimes find myself on youtube watching actual court cases. I honestly don’t think I need it to be aware of this thing we live in called life. But, it’s like shots. I’m afraid of them but you just HAVE to look when they’re sticking the needle in. Well at least that’s my case.
