In A Dark Space

I didn’t think you would leave me, but you did!

I was sitting at my kitchen table when you sent me into a dark place. I’ll never forget how my heart fell to the pit of my stomach, and all of a sudden, my breath felt loud. 

When you left me, I let out a gasp that could have woken the dead. But I didn’t care; I would have welcomed them to come in and carry me away. You stole my joy and left me dead inside,rotting away. I think I felt you giggle as you saw my soul leave my body, or maybe that was just my imagination.

You left so damn fast, and I couldn’t keep up with you as you quickly disappeared. 

I did everything in my power to try to get you back; I even said a prayer in hopes that it would help.

I sat at my table and searched every folder in my files for a clue as to why you had gone. The freakin relief that I would have felt if I had found something, but nothing, not one sign. So I quickly brushed myself off, made myself a cup of coffee, and forgot about you.

I cursed the whole time I began to type, and then slowly, my tension let up, and the words I had shared with you no longer mattered. I needed to start a new, and you helped me do just that, so I thank you. I thank you for disappearing into the unknown dark space. I wasn’t too keen on that post anyway.

Lost Post

Hey, my beautiful people, I hope y’all enjoyed this little sweetheart of a post. The one I wanted to share with you today disappeared into thin air. Oh well, no big deal, I’ll write again on another day.

Curse the evil WordPress energy for today, though!

  3. for me it’s all about getting older…walk into one room, forgetting why walked into that room, turning back into the room were in before, and forgetting why you just walked into that room in the first place…..the you realize that you were just looking for the washroom

    1. LOLOL! Girl WP through that mess right on out and kept steppin. I had to deal with Larry’s loud mouth this morning and then WP took the baton and finished the race. I should’ve stayed in bed and watched movies today.

  18. Well at least its not just me I guess, wordpress always messing with me, including but not limited to disappearing posts and multiple image uploads that keep re uploading constantly. Have to close the app to get it to stop and then go back into your media library to delete them. I think i had 50 copies to delete yesterday.. smh

  21. I agree with you about WP yet to curse it, that’s where I say no. If it were not for WP I wouldn’t have a way to communicate with you. I consider that a blessing.

    Very intense and incredible post, however. Seriously good!!! Thank you for sharing your talent!

    WP leaves me gnashing my teeth at times …. case in point …. I had to go through the reader in order to leave you a comment. A hassle. Time consuming. And darn it, we who use WP shouldn’t get hassled as we do. Just sayin’ …… xo
