Major understatement!
My husband loved the Barbie movie. If y’all have not read my post from Friday, I encourage you to do so Look After Yourself Friday. This post will make more sense if you do, and you’ll see how much my husband loves hanging out with his kids.
Anyway, he loved the movie and had to dress the part!
On Saturday, my girls told him the dress code, so he headed to Macy’s to buy a pink shirt. He had the biggest smile plastered on his face as our girls approved his attire. They gave him thumbs-up and told him how cool he was.
After he was given the green light, he smiled harder and quickly ran upstairs to get dressed!
The movie began at 4:30, and he was ready to roll.
I wasn’t going to go because I needed to finish work, but they all talked me into it. So I took out my pink attire and joined in on the fun. I have to say that I’m glad that I did.
Watching my girls look at their dad, laugh, sing, and even chair dance made me smile. Even though this was our girl’s second time seeing the movie, I know they felt like it was their first. They enjoy watching their dad act silly and carefree.
He gave them exactly what they wanted and then some!
Barbie gets a thumbs-up from all of us.
