And Just Like That!

We did it again y’all!

The end of July is here, and we are moving closer to a new month. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling good about August. I wrote a list of things I would like to get done, and if I don’t, NO BIG DEAL.

The list provides a bunch of wants that will land me in a good position by the end of the year.

And yes, there is always something about fitness on my list. Making new fitness, financial, healthy meals, and vacation goals is a must! Even if I come up short every damn time, it still feels good to see them written down and believe they will come to pass.

One time I was writing out my list of must-dos for the month, and I had to throw the whole damn list away. I knew good and well that I wasn’t going to meet my targeted savings amount or the food restrictions. As a matter of fact, that particular month, I lost money and gained weight.

But I still felt good that I had high hopes, or maybe I was just delusional as hell. Whatever the case might be, that will not stop me from writing my goals for each month.

Anyways, y’all, let’s go into this new month with high hopes, a positive attitude, a smile on our faces, and love in our hearts.

Please leave your goal for this month or this year in the comment section.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  2. Halfway through my vacation I stepped on a scale and discovered that I had gained four pounds. Was I pissed about it? Actually, not at all. Because it had been WORTH it. All I did from there was scale back ever so slightly on my tasties consumption whilst upping the ante on my exercise regimen in the AM. Fast forward to today, I’m back even. So yes, I agree with you completely. Don’t get down on yourself when the mindset isn’t broken.

      1. I’m still working on that. I fell down the stairs on Monday but my x-rays luckily didn’t show any fractures anywhere. So, I have 10 days of Valium now. lol Maybe my goal is not to fall again. haha 🌺🤍🌺

  3. Well, if you still felt good that’s all that really matters. Writing goals is a good idea, but at the end of the day if we feel fulfilled within, that’s a huge achievement too. My goal is to get a job. I really hope I reach it 🤞🏾

    1. Yes!!! I have been “liking” your comments on my end (by using the little bell in the upper right corner), but I’m thinking that for whatever reason they are not coming through on your end. So, I thought I would pop over here to let you know that I see all your ❤ and sooo appreciate the love! 🙂
