What’s your favorite summer hair style?

Are you a lover of hairstyle change?

When it comes to hair, we are all so different, and that is so wonderful. We can tap into something new just by looking around us. Some of my favorite hairstyles have come from various nationalities. They motivated me to step outside of my comfort zone and try something different.

My natural hair is curly, and to get it straight, I have to undergo a long, tedious process of which I hate. The heat that must be applied is cruel, it takes up to 2 hours, and my hard work will only last for one day. However, if I decided to work out, then consider my style GONE!!

Crochet braids save the day.

I know some of you may be thinking can anyone wear crochet braids? And the answer is ABSOLUTELY! Crochet isn’t limited to one particular race or culture. So if you are looking for a new way to wear your hair without cutting or coloring your own, then crochet braids might be for you.

Number Of Styles You Can Create

It is easy to get overwhelmed when trying to pick out a new look because there are 100’s of styles, which is why I want to introduce you to each one of my new looks. 

How To Learn To Crochet

I have watched too many Youtube tutorials to count. You can type in “How to crochet braid in the Youtube search bar,” and video after video will pop up. You will get detailed steps on how to install correctly. And the one thing that I love about Youtube is seeing what each type of hair looks like installed on a Youtuber.

  1. I’m so glad I have a short haircut. I used to have long, thick hair and it would take forever to style it. Most days, I just brush and go now. My favorite summer hairstyle? Short haircut, cropped and styled neatly. I’m in love with it. Lol

    1. I love your hairstyle. When I was in the military that’s how I wore mine. But I need a perm to make it lay perfectly and I stopped getting them 12 years ago. But I think one day I will cut it off and go for my old look.
      Short hair is the best!!!

      1. I hear you. I have to have a perm to make mine lay perfectly in the back or stay straight. I’ve wavy hair. For some reason, I don’t think I look good in braids and the like. But I love seeing them on others, especially when done right.

        You’re actually rocking that hairstyle in the video. And it’s amazing what can be done to and with hair.

  5. Gorgeous! Ummm, I have little hair, so today, short, short, short. Love the feeling of the breeze on my scalp. There was a time it was longer, and I liked that too. Fun! Have a lovely day, Belladonna!😊
