Right Foot Left Foot

I’m a mom, and I’m always on 10.

Isn’t that how motherhood is supposed to go?

Aren’t we supposed to always go, go, go?

I had my first baby 19 years ago, and at that exact moment, my mind began to run a thousand miles a minute. Nascar drivers don’t have anything on a mom. Especially a brand new mom with a million things to do and a crying baby staring at her as if she has all the answers… Sorry baby, we’re just as clueless as you are!

But give us a minute, and we will figure you out.

A couple of years ago, I started to calm down and slow down. But I have my days where I have a list that has to get done before the day grows dark. And today was one of those days.

I woke with my mind charging full speed ahead and the energy to match.

I jumped up, slipped on my son’s sweats that are now way too tight on him, and not to mention ankle biters. Put it this way, the last time he wore them, he was ready for a flood to take place. Now they are mine, and I proudly rushed to put them on before running down the stairs to take my daughter to school.

I yelled for her to get in the car but shockingly saw that she was already in there. So I grabbed my sneakers and threw them in the car ( I hate driving with shoes on). After I dropped her off, I pulled into Target, ready to grocery shop. I looked down to grab my sneakers, and there it was.

Two different shoes, but lucky for me I had one for my right foot and another for my left foot.

Target here comes me!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
