We made it to face and enjoy another week. Here I am putting my best foot forward towards better health, getting my business on the right path, and putting up ALL OF MY CHRISTMAS DECOR.
Annnndddddddddd….. Celebrating my delicious husband’s birthday.
So stay tuned for tomorrow’s EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! I am beyond excited to celebrate that man.
But today, I have to put in that work and keep this booty lifted because the bigger they are, the harder they fall. And black may not crack, but it does sag. So with that being said, I will continue on with week two of Insanity.
If you haven’t heard of it or ever done it, you should definitely give it a go. Insanity is a Beachbody workout, and one of the reasons I became a Beachbody coach. When you first push play, you might think, “are you crazy? I can’t do that”. But have no fear; that’s why modifications are here. The best thing to do is to pace yourself and take as many breaks as you need to. But here is the most important… FOLLOW THE CALENDAR and enjoy your rest day.
Rest days are called “rest days” for a reason!
Go clean your house, paint something, cook, read a damn book. Just BACK off from working out!
Seriously back off and enjoy the process. Don’t be that person that has skipped your workout for months or years and then all of a sudden hit the gym like a nonstop maniac. You know the type. They go so hard in the gym and refuse to take a rest day until their new injury forces them to. You have to remember that it takes 60 days for your body to recognize and respond to what you are doing. And being consistent does not mean beating your body up every day. Take care of that body, eat clean most of the time, and have fun while becoming a stronger, healthier you!
