Ignorance

Sometimes I sit here and think about how ignorant we are.

I mean really……

Is it so hard to wear a mask and keep yourself as well as others protected?

Are we selfish or just plain dumb?

Wearing a mask isn’t a political statement. It’s keeping your dumb ass out of the hospital bed and preventing you from putting doctors and nurses at risk. When I wear mine, I am not thinking about politics. I’m thinking about my kids, husband, dog, and myself. I will do everything that I can to protect my household.

Which means you aren’t stepping foot in my house. If we should happen to need repairs, then you better know that he/she will be wearing a mask and I am squirting the hell out of your hands with sanitizer before you touch anything. I AM NOT PLAYING!!!!

Okay, so we have been housebound since March, and I, like the rest of the world, would love to hop on a plane and go somewhere. Hell anywhere is better than my kitchen, but you can’t ignore the rise in cases.

So here is my plan…

This weekend I will take sometime to find a little beach house that we can drive to. When we get there, we can swim in a pool that will just be for us, and a corner of a beach that is also for us. We will not go dine out like we usually do, but we will eat outside on the beach. This vacation will be vastly different than the past, but I want to live, so there’s that.
