I’ve been away from my blog for quiet sometime, but y’all were always on my mind!
While I was away, I often found myself thinking about how everyone is doing. I truly hope you’re taking care of yourself and making time to do things just for you.
While I was away
Time flies when you’re having fun! Spending time with my fam is the one thing that I love most. Sharing family meals, movie nights, going to the orchestra, seeing plays, and laughs on top of laughs. But it feels good to be back and chatting with my blog fam!
I would love to know how everyone is doing and what your plans are for the weekend.
Weekend Plans
Tonight, I’ll be screaming, yelling, and cheering my daughter on at her basketball game. If I still have a voice tomorrow, I’d love to go dancing with my gorgeous husband. Honestly, even if I lose my voice, I’ll be more than ready to groove across the dance floor!
But there’s one thing that could hold me back: Mother Nature!
The weather has been all over the place lately, and cold weather and I just don’t get along. I absolutely hate being cold—and my dislike for sweaters and coats is even stronger.
But enough about me!

Belladonna’s Flashlight 
It’s a long weekend here in New Zealand (Waitangi Day). Were having some friends around for lunch and a bit of a tour of our place (we have ducks, geese, an orchard, etc)
These days, I’m working out at the company gym just two days a week. It helps with keeping my knees, joints, etc in fine working order. I generally control my weight by eating less and more intelligently.

I’m so happy to see you! Today, I skipped work and spent time with my mom, then a pedicure! Tomorrow is chores and then going to a girlfriends house for nachos and laughs. Sunday, mostly rest day with meal prep for the week and maybe baking some cookies! Balance! Missed you girl.
